Sayadaw U Narada Visits the U.S., 1962

This documentary shows the visit of Sayadaw U Narada and Burmese group en route from Rio de Janeiro to Rangoon December 1961 - January 1962.

The film shows visits to Washington, D.C. at Christmas time and to Japan in January. Scenes unfold in visits to State Departments, Congress, United Nations; good shots of New York, prayers at Burmese embassy. Masa Shibusawa also serves as host in Japan.
